I think if you use shampoo and conditioner not made for color treated hair, it should fade the color. if not I would go to a salon and someone there could fix it for you.

Yes, there actually is. Whatever your natural hair color is go to the store and get a hair dye that is the closest color to your natural hair color, and when the color fades out, you’re color will be back (:

Did you bleach your hair before you dyed it?
As with any permanent dye you have to think about it before you go shoving it on your hair.
The time it takes to wash it depends on the dye you’ve bought, but most are in the region of 6-8 weeks. Repeat washing it, with shampoo and the colour will fade, but to be honest, the best thing to do is just wait for the colour to fade out on its own. :)
You could always try dying it with a lighter dye, but the colour will probably come out as something you’re not happy with since the mixture of them both may have a dodgy effect and it’s important to remember that it isn’t actually good for your hair to dye it!

Well, I dont think you can use shampoos to lighten your colour, but if you wash everyday for a while it will begin to fade. If you have just had it had it done then you should wait a while to get used to it. If you want drastic colour change then i would dye it another colour. xx

    Use Colour Stripper
    Or
    Grow It Out

i don’t think so – if the colour was permanent and a lot darker than your natural colour it will never completely wash out. what you need to do is take the colour out of your hair with bleach or highlights and then dye it a shade which resembles your natural colour. it would be quite difficult to get good results if you do it yourself so your best bet is a hairdresser. otherwise wait (even though a dark colour growing off and revealing lighter roots is one of the worst things to have on you head :(
